I grew up in Central City, Iowa, moved to Marietta, Georgia where I lived for almost 20 years, and now reside in Dekle Beach, Florida. I have officially lived in the South longer than I lived in the Midwest, which I guess washes most of the “Yankee” off of me.
My husband and I own Beach Realty Gulf Coast in Keaton Beach, and I also own and operate Mabel Rose.
Mabel Rose (the store) is my passion, my baby, my creative outlet and my escape. It is an eclectic gathering of hand-crafted jewelry, re-purposed finds, consignment decorator items, bargains, and forgotten treasures. My bestest friend Patti is my co-conspirator and chief jewelry designer/creator.
Mabel Rose (the blog) is my venture into the world of electronic self-expression. I’ve spent the past year reading and re-reading hundreds of blogs and found myself longing to explore this world.
